WhackStar Productions is committed to protecting your privacy online. The following privacy policy explains what information we gather about you, and what it is used for.
Information
When you place an order, we need to know your name, email address, company name if applicable, mailing address, a home phone, work phone, fax number, your credit card number and expiration date, if applicable. We need this information to process your order and to contact you, should there be a problem with your order.
Use of information
We do not disclose any personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, mailing address, email address or telephone number, to any third party except as necessary to register new domains. We use it to analyze site usage, and to improve our product offerings.
We will use your email address and if need be your mailing address or phone number to contact you regarding administrative issues, maintenance issues, and about any change in the function(s) of our products.
We may also store the information that we gather from you in a file along with any email or other written correspondence that we have had with you. This information may be used to enforce our terms of service, or to resolve legal matters.
Your information will NEVER be sold, traded or provided to a 3rd party.
Disclosure
WhackStar Productions will not disclose any information about any individual user except to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, or to protect the personal safety of our users or the public. WhackStar Productions may disclose any information about their users under special circumstances that include but are not limited to complying with the law, or assisting in rectifying an unjust doing.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1995. WhackStar Productions was formed in 1997. We have been providing web hosting services since the very beginning. In addition to hosting services we also offer consultation, web design, site promotion and e-mail services.
If I have a problem with my site can I call you?
Absolutely! We are firm believers in Customer Service. No matter what time of the day or night you can call us a one of the numbers listed below and a real voice will answer. In the rare event that you get our answering service please leave a return number and a brief message describing the problem and we will get back to you shortly.
How do I use FTP?

What types of sites can I create?
- Commercial Web Sites promoting any type of legal product, service or membership.

How do I transfer my site to your service?
Transferring your domain to our servers is easy! You'll need to contact the company that currently handles your domain and notify them of your intention to switch Host services. They will ask for the following information:
Hosting Company: WhackStar Productions
Host Name Servers: NS1.HE.NET and NS2.HE.NET
IP Address: 216.218.130.2 and 216.218.131.2Or let us know who you registered your domain with and we'll handle the transfer for you at no additional charge.

We currently accept checks and money orders**. If we are transferring an existing site, fees are due 10 days after your site has been transferred to our servers.

I want to create a pay site. Do you have any recommendations for 3rd party credit card processors?
We use both Ibill and Globill Systems to process credit card, online checks and Web900/Telephone payments. Click on one of the logos for more information.
We currently do not accept the following types of sites:
Chat Rooms. You may point your site at any of the free chat rooms, but we are not able to support chat room software at this time.
IRC Bots
Anonymous FTP. Due to potential security hazards, we have determined that the safest policy for all of our clients is to NOT allow anonymous ftp access.
WAREZ or Password Sharing sites.
